Summer School Information
Summer P.E. (Summer school registration is currently closed-please contact PAM WHITE for more information)

June 10th – June 23rd 8:00AM -3:30PM

Lunch must be a packed lunch from home. Students are not allowed to leave campus.

No transportation.

No absences allowed.

Cost is $160 ($100 for reduced lunch students, $75 for free lunch students)

Payment must be cash or money order (payable to FCPS); no personal checks.

Proof of free/reduced lunch status must accompany the registration form.

Registration form available in the counseling office beginning April 27th .

Registration will be May 4th – 7th at 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

Completed forms and payments must be brought to PLD during the registration period. Students or parents may bring the materials to register; parents are not required to be present.

Summer Health

Student will need to pick up an Health e-School Application from the Guidance office or download here

Cost for Health e-School is $125 ($80 for reduced lunch students and $60 for free)

Deadline for e-school applications to be mailed to MLK is June 5th.
Summer School at PLD

Choice between AM 8:30 to 11:30 or PM 12:00 to 3:00

Classes for summer school are taken online here at school and are only for failing grades in general class (i.e. english, history)

Credit Recovery (PLATO) online @ home

Students interested in credit recovery for a failing general class need to contact the guidance office/ counselors

Students interested in e-school whether over the summer or during the school year need to speak with a counselor either by appointment or email
